Charles Langley - Today we are predicting that gas prices will increase another two to six cents by Thursday. We just confirmed that Tesoro's refinery (supplies Shell) in Wilmington is having problems.
Since Thursday, prices have surged at cash-only stations including unbranded independents and Arco. These stations maintain the "price floor" in California, and when you lift the floor, the major brands, go up too.
Our Gas Guy, Bob van der Valk predicted this in August in the CRUDE REALITY where he compared the forces at work to a gathering storm.
Speaking of storms, you could expand the metaphor: dealers are now being pelted in a "reign of pain;" their margins are either razor thin or they are operating at a loss.
yeah there is no stopping in
yeah there is no stopping in the incresing of gas prices, since its directly related to Crude, its only during the peak of recession that the crude oil was at $35 a barrel after that it just spiked almost 100% plus and now its trading at 78$ a barrel, the world is using these resources to a great extent that soon will be facing a shortage of crude, we will have to switch to other forms of power. The rising of gas prises will directly influence in the rise of inflation.
